This small 2 effect Rossi & Catelli evaporator is in very good condition. It was designed to run tomato paste and will run most other types of high value fruit and vegetable purees. Feed Rate 1320 pounds per hour. Evaporation Rate 1100 pounds per hour. Product Rate 109 + pounds per hour. It could be used as a finisher for a larger pre concentrator system. We have it set up in front of our offices in Edinburg, Texas. We have gone through it and repaired any problem that we found. It is ready to be shipped to your facility, hooked up with utility and product piping and started. These measurements are taken from the outside of the flanges that secure the units to the foundation. The evaporator section is 116 in. X 90 in. (Approx: 10' X 8' ). The stair section is 104 in. Here is an APV Two Effect evaporator, with Alloy 20 vapor vessels and ducting and with Titanium heat exchanger surfaces (plates) in the 1st effect and Carpenter 20 heat exchanger surfaces (plates) in the two heat exchangers that comprise the 2nd effect. The feed preheater is a heat exchanger with Incolloy 825 plates. This system is equipped with a plate type finisher (Paravap) that has Hastelloy plates. All product contact pumps are Alloy 20. It has a dual TVR's system that will give this system about 3 to 1 economy. The dual TVR system will allow this evaporator to be easily turned down to lower feed and evaporation rates while maintaining efficiency. It can be configured to run 20,000 lbs/hr or more of evaporation, or can be configured for much less lbs/hr. APV Single Effect SR-25 Paravap Plate Evaporator. Year Built: 1997, This unit has been designed to run high viscosity products . The evaporation rate is somewhat variable depending on the conditions run.
All product contact surfaces are food grade polished 316 SS. This complete system would make an ideal test evaporator, a pilot plant evaporation system or an evaporation system to do small quantities of highly valuable product. All it needs to run is to be hooked up to a low-pressure steam source (30 psig), a power supply (440 volts) and a water supply (approx 20 gpm total).
All equipment is mounted on a SS skid. Overall dimensions: 9 ft. 8 in. L x 7 ft. W x 8 ft. 4 in. H.

Niro / Alfa Laval pilot plant falling film tubular {3} effect evaporator system { skid mounted }, manufactured entirely of sanitary stainless steel, with a rated capacity of 40-120 kg / hr of water evaporation. The unit is complete with SiHi vacuum pump, stainless steel centrifugal product pumps, and unitized on common base with piping and controls. There is 1.5 sq. meters of tube surface in the surface condenser, 1.38 sq meters in the first effect, .92 sq. meters in the 2nd effect, and .46 sq. meters in the 3rd effect. The unit was new in 1978, is in excellent condition.

It is a Hybrid unit`, utilizing an APV Falling Film plate pack for the 1st effect and APV Rising, Falling Film plate packs for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th effects. The 4th effect is comprised of 2 Rising Falling film plate packs. The TVR increases steam to evaporation efficiency up to almost 5 to 1. All product contact surfaces are 316 stainless steel including heat exchanger plates, vapor separators, pumps, vapor and product tubing. Evaporation rate 30,000 pounds per hour. This system was set up to run citrus juices and will be able to run most other types of juice or similar products.
