APV 2 Effect Falling Film Plate Evaporator with TVR. The 1st effect is an APV Falling Film Plate pack. It is a painted carbon steel frame with 316 SS plates and product contact surfaces. The 2nd effect is an APV R86 Plate. . It is a painted carbon steel frame with 316 SS plates and product contact surfaces. This system is equipped with a legal Pasteurizer for a preheating system and a Thermocompressor that increases the overall steam efficiency to 3 to 1. It is equipped with a shell and tube surface condenser and a 2 stage flash cooling system This system was originally designed to concentrate dairy products to high solids. This system will be ideal for heat sensitive food grade products going to high concentrations
Got an evaporation duty requiring exotic metals? Need a short delivery time for a system? Maybe you have salty brine or other product requiring exotic materials. Here is an APV Two Effect evaporator, with Alloy 20 vapor vessels and ducting and with Titanium heat exchanger surfaces (plates) in the 1st effect and Carpenter 20 heat exchanger surfaces (plates) in the two heat exchangers that comprise the 2nd effect. The feed preheater is a heat exchanger with Incolloy 825 plates. This system is equipped with a plate type finisher (Paravap) that has Hastelloy plates. All product contact pumps are Alloy 20. It has a dual TVR's system that will give this system about 3 to 1 economy. The dual TVR system will allow this evaporator to be easily turned down to lower feed and evaporation rates while maintaining efficiency. It can be configured to run 20,000 lbs/hr or more of evaporation, or can be configured for much less lbs/hr. Genemco can help configure this system to a customer's specific application and desired efficiency rate.
APV 3 Effect Rising Falling Film Plate Evaporator with Horizontal Vapor Separators. All product surfaces are 304 or 316 SS. Equipped with a horizontal tubular surface condenser and all product, condensate and vacuum pumps. Feed Balance Tank and Plate type preheater This is a very flexible and reliable system that can run food and heat sensitive types of products. It can run other products requiring SS contact surfaces. Original Feed Rate 15,854 pounds per hour @ 9% solids. Original evaporation rate 13,000 pounds per hour of water. Concentrated Product Rate 2853 pounds per hour @ 50% solids.
APV 3 Effect Rising Falling Film Plate Evaporator with Horizontal Vapor Separators. All product surfaces are 304 or 316 SS. Equipped with a verticle condenser, feed balance tank, plate-type preheater, and all product, condensate and vacuum pumps. This is a very flexible and reliable system that can run both food products and heat-sensitive non-food products requiring stainless steel contact surfaces. This is a modular system with a very adaptable feed and evaporation rate for many applications.

Inside straight wall dimensions: 36 in. dia. x 58 in. H. This unit has been designed to run high viscosity products. The evaporation rate is somewhat variable depending on the conditions run but should do 3,000 to 5,000 lbs water/hr. Typical pressure ratings are 100 – 150 psi. with some vessels being rated for full vacuum. All product contact surfaces are food grade polished 316 SS. This complete system would make an ideal evaporation system to do small quantities of highly valuable product or to be used as a finisher. (ACN4440).

The evaporation rate is somewhat variable depending on the conditions run. All product contact surfaces are Titanium and the heating surface area is approximately 325 square feet. It has an APV Finisher V-L Separator- 150 Gallon. Model: VL 240.000. W.O. No: 12023. This complete system would make an ideal finisher, test evaporator, a pilot plant evaporation system or an evaporation system to do small quantities of highly valuable or low ph product.

APV Single Effect SR-25 Paravap Plate Evaporator. Year Built: 1997, This unit has been designed to run high viscosity products . The evaporation rate is somewhat variable depending on the conditions run.
All product contact surfaces are food grade polished 316 SS. This complete system would make an ideal test evaporator, a pilot plant evaporation system or an evaporation system to do small quantities of highly valuable product. All it needs to run is to be hooked up to a low-pressure steam source (30 psig), a power supply (440 volts) and a water supply (approx 20 gpm total).
All equipment is mounted on a SS skid. Overall dimensions: 9 ft. 8 in. L x 7 ft. W x 8 ft. 4 in. H.

APV 4 Effect Rising Falling Film Plate Evaporator 6 Stage with TVR. It is a Hybrid unit`, utilizing an APV Falling Film plate pack for the 1st effect and APV Rising, Falling Film plate packs for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th effects. The 4th effect is comprised of 2 Rising Falling film plate packs. The TVR increases steam to evaporation efficiency up to almost 5 to 1. All product contact surfaces are 316 stainless steel including heat exchanger plates, vapor separators, pumps, vapor and product tubing. Evaporation rate 30,000 pounds per hour. This system was set up to run citrus juices and will be able to run most other types of juice or similar products.
